Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2013 Tech Info

We’ve seen the images of what could be the Hyperfuse 2013 and now we have some tech information.

Hyperfuse upper along with the new addition of Adaptive Fit which promotes lockdown and range of motion & heel/ forefoot Zoom Air – said large volume but I don’t know if that means in both heel and forefoot or just one of the two.

So, it looks like people will get everything they’ve wanted out of the Hyperfuse line with the latest installment. If you ask me, this sounds like the best version of the shoe since the original.

  1. I hope this doesn’t push the price of the sneaker too high. Always thought the Hyperfuse was a great performer at it’s price point.

I was never too fussed about the lack of zoom in the heel because I spend most of my time on my toes.

  2. now that makes sense. I’m excited of getting the hyperfuse again. if heel and forefoot have large zoom bags, they would be the most comfortable hyperfuse that would come out this year and could simply be a better shoe than the Soldier 6 in overall comfort. if it’s the heel that has the large volume zoom bag, I just hope the forefoot zoom would be similar to the KD V’s which would make the Hyperfuse a combination of sick responsiveness and maximum comfort with great overall support that would easily displace the KD V’s. the only concern that I have is that the traction don’t look that deeply exposed and pliable enough to bite the floor. the herringbone looks pretty recessed.

  3. looks like Nike listened to people griping over no heel zoom.
I bet the price point is going to jump up at least $10 though but to me it worth it with the additional changes like the adaptive fit

  4. What happened to the traction? They should made it similar to the 2012s version. The hyperfuse 2012s would have been great with heel cushioning. Come on Nike give us a shoe with full length zoom. I really wanted to try the kobe vii with full length zoom, but everyone knows they had a really bad fit for most feet.

  5. So the heel is gonna be popping in and out of the shell along with side to side movement?! No thanks, I prefer my heel to be locked into the base of my shoes and as stable as possible. Sounds dangerous.

    1. Edit: Just realized what that dinosaur tail might to be for – to retract the collar after it’s popped out of the shoe.

      1. To LongCity: The dinosaur tail is actually a pullback strap to keep your feet in place. And after all, Hyperfuse has always been a great performer on court and I bet it will be the best out of the series.
